How do we manufacture multi-strength glass?

Custom-made glasses

All our lenses are ground in Skanderborg, Denmark. We adapt our multi-vision lenses uniquely to your vision and frame. This is possible by 3D scanning your lens.

Scanning glasses

If you already have a smooth transition in your glasses, we can scan your old lenses and copy all vision data to your new lenses.

Precision in photos

To ensure you get the best lenses, we need 4 photos. First, one of you without glasses - and then 3 with glasses. We will email you a guide after you have placed your order.

Digital surveying

By digitally measuring the 4 photos, we ensure that the smooth transition is exactly in relation to your eyes and vision.

Which lens thickness suits you and your vision best?

The choice of lens thickness depends on several factors such as strength, desired weight and appearance, and the frame in which the lens will be mounted. Lens thickness is often described with an index number. The higher the index, the smaller the thickness. Thicker lenses are generally cheaper, but can only be used at lower strengths. Lenses with a higher index are thinner, lighter, and can meet more types of vision needs.
